The Boston Conservatory Collection Each of the four pieces above have been designed and made exclusively for and donated to The Boston Conservatory, Boston, Massachusetts for their annual scholarship fund raising event. The legs include a fine inlay of holly stringing and the drawer pull is a polished solid brass reproduction. This table, as can all the pieces, be made from any hardwood desired and a custom designed inlay can be added as well. 27" high x 18" diameter The Music Stand The Music Stand incorporates a unique and stylish hand carved lyre as the music support surface. This Music Stand is shown in solid American Cherry. Solid brass fittings permit the music stand to be adjusted for any playing height or position. The music stand is the perfect gift for the amateur or professional musician and makes a great addition to the performance hall or in the home. 46" high x 17" wide The Child's Rocker This child's rocker is another in the series of musical theme pieces. This rocker is made by integrating the hand carved lyre from the Music Stand shown above into the back of the rocker. The piece is made of solid American Cherry. 24" high x 18" wide x 22" deep The Piano Bench This is a custom designed Piano Bench made from solid Black Walnut and features a small drawer under the seat, solid brass drawer pulls and foot caps, and a custom designed hand cut holly lyre in the seat surface. The Piano Bench makes the perfect companion to the Music Stand! 32" long x 17" wide x 19" high	Queen Anne Style Game Table The table is a custom, one-of-a-kind design based on a 1730's card table. The game table is solid American Cherry and has hand carved cabriole legs and a removable/reversible insert in the top. On one side of the insert is a chess board (as shown above) with Ebony and Brazilian Cherry inlayed squares. The reverse side is a backgammon board with Black Walnut and Quilted Maple inlay to form the playing design. A small drawer with a solid brass reproduction pull is at each of the four playing stations. 34" square x 29" high
Hawaiian Koa Demilune A custom designed demilune table in Hawaiian Koa. The table features a sunburst/geometric inlay pattern of koa that is hand selected and cut for grain and color. The inlay pieces result in a "reversible" coloring when viewed from differing angles. The lighter pieces appear darker and the darker pieces appear lighter. The legs feature an inlayed string of ebony. The Koa was personally selected from the mill on the Big Island of Hawaii . 36" x 20" x 29" high	A custom designed Queen Anne style coffee table in solid Mahogany. The legs are hand carved cabriole legs, each made from a single piece of mahogany. The three drawers are made from solid Hard Maple. Faux drawer fronts on the reverse side balance the design. The drawer pulls are a solid brass reproduction pull. 40" wide x 24" deep x 18" high
This Solid American Cherry Sheraton Table features a 12 point inlayed star on the top surface. The inlayed star is made from hand cut holly and ebony veneers. Others of this same design (less the inlay star) have been produced.This modified table was designed and made expressly for and donated to the Glastonbury, Connecticut Public Library Second Century Fund. 16" x 16" x 27" high	Elliptical Table The elliptical table is a reproduction of a table located in Pavilion VII  (Collanade Club) on the Lawn at the University of Virginia. The table is solid mahogany. The top is marble which is adorned with a brass gallery. Solid brass drawer locks, rosettes, and casters complete the piece. A Triangle shaped side table in solid mahogany. This table is made from solid mahogany and features hand carved triangle section cabriole legs. The top and the shelf are rimmed with a fine beading lip and the legs feature solid brass hooves. 18" triangle x 24" high
Years ago I had the pleasure of working under a wonderful mentor who said to me that if I was proud of my work, I should always sign it. I've taken his advice, and ever since all of my work is personally signed and dated when the piece is completed, as I am very proud of the piece that has been made for you. A registry log is kept for each of the pieces that have been made.	Crotch Mahogany Round Side Table This table is a uniquely designed, one-of-a-kind inlay and veneered round table. The top and shelf are made from quadrant matched Crotch Mahogany with a radial rim on mahogany veneer. The aprons and the legs are solid mahogany and the legs have a thin inlayed stringing of holly.
